Ethically and Sustainably Produced Charcoal

Responsibly sourced timber is at the heart of our company ethics

All the timber that goes into making our charcoal is harvested under Namibian National Environmental Laws on tree preservation, done under licence from the government. We are fully compliant with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) sustainability regulations in order to preserve the natural environment and world forestry.

We employ local representatives in Namibia to work with selected farmers to ensure quality of charcoal produced and compliance with local and international standards for labour, environment and sustainability.

Timber is harvested by hand using local workers providing jobs for the community. Workers are provided with all equipment and accommodation during working season.

Ethical and Sustainable Charcoal Production

We go to great lengths to produce quality charcoal products

It is important to us that money from the harvesting of the timber and charcoal production stays in the local economy and everyone benefits from the production of the charcoal.
